Celebrating Black Maternal Health Week #BMHW25

An Unglamorous Story…

Even those of us who appreciate the value of a glamorous life and are committed to not letting the baby steel our style are sometimes blindsided.

This morning, Andre went off early to work and the baby and I were hanging out together. We had a grand time. I made myself a smoothie with mango, nectarines and Greek yogurt. I even got to read an actual book as the baby took her nap. Inside, I was patting myself on the back for being organized and peacefully enjoying a day of luxury.
