Celebrating Black Maternal Health Week #BMHW25

Mom and three kids Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. Black Maternal Health Week April 11-17, 2025 I am a Black mom to three wonderful children. I was blessed to have three successful births. While I am an attorney, my third delivery highlighted the potential risks that occur when a physician fails to listen to the birthing person. The Cutest Baby In the World!

As you know our baby turned one.  To celebrate her newfound maturity we decided to enter her in a contest.  Before you go thinking that I've become a stage mom from "Toddlers & Tiaras", I'm just talking about a simple Facebook contest.  No makeup or baby heels involved!

The contest ends on the 19th and we really need your help to win.  All you have to do is vote for her. Voting is terribly easy too.  Go to the PINXAV page on Facebook, look for the photo of my baby in her pink and pearls (see the photo below) and click "like".  I have included the link to the page below for your convenience (you should be able to click on it and go directly to the photo).

If you vote, let me know by commenting on this blog post.  There's a prize for the 100th and 150th person who likes her photo. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

I never thought I'd use this blog for shameless plugs.  Look what motherhood has done to me!
