Mom and three kids Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. Black Maternal Health Week April 11-17, 2025 I am a Black mom to three wonderful children. I was blessed to have three successful births. While I am an attorney, my third delivery highlighted the potential risks that occur when a physician fails to listen to the birthing person. Initially, I chalked it up to the physician involved and limited it to my personal birthing experience. Then, I learned that I was not special. Musings about Monday

Monday was a great day albeit a chilly one. After working a full day I returned home and scooped up the baby. She and I went shopping for a few clothes.

Moms, if you haven't discovered the Baby Depot Burlington Coat Factory, stop reading this blog and go! Burlington consistently has good quality, low cost, baby clothes. They carry the Carter's brand, which produces such quality things. They also carry supplies. You can get nursing supplies, laundry detergent and even cribs.  Whatever you need they've got it and generally much cheaper than other places, even the online outlets.  I  generally do a decent amount of online shopping because you can't beat the convenience. However, last night I made it out to a real store!

We also made it to Five Below where I was able to score some Easter supplies. I found cute cards and some favors that I tend to distribute at the National Aviary Breakfast with the Easter Bunny event this Saturday.  Since I'll be around so many moms, I might as well promote the blog, don't you think?!
