Celebrating Black Maternal Health Week #BMHW25

Mom and three kids Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. A Peek Into the Life of a Blogger Mom: Preparing for My First Blogging Conference (BlogHer12)

Since I enjoy blogging I decided to attend a blogging conference this year. There were so many to choose from. Ultimately I chose the one that I thought would give me the biggest bang for my buck and would be the least disruptive for my family.

She may not know the difference, but it's important to me.

I was so focused on the conference--what to wear, how to style my hair, who to meet--that I  forgot that even I prepare well, I can't control everything.  However, I was reminded and my family's life was disrupted.

I'm writing this on a plane, which is landing. So, I'm going to have to pause. For now, let's just say that I really appreciated the free drink they gave me on the plane...
