Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three , working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. 2025 was intense. I faced a convergence of pressures: the stress of navigating life as a single mom while paying considerable  alimony ,  an intensifying family situation since we lost my beloved aunt, my dad, and my cousin’s mom—work related stress—learning a new job after an imposed job change, all while navigating the rapid pace of raising my kids and trying to maintain a standard of living for them with fewer resources. Friday Tip: Stay Tuned for Product Reviews

As you know I attended my first blogging conference, BlogHer’12, in August.  One of my goals in attending the conference was to develop relationships with PR companies and manufacturers so that I could become a brand ambassador.  I haven’t risen up the ranks of the highly sought after bloggers yet. I haven’t received a free trip to Disney World. And I haven’t had my face on a bill board in Times Square (yet).

I have made great contacts, gotten some cool invitations to events, and scored some swag. I have also been fortunate to get some products sent to me to review.

I will not transform Chaton’s World in to a “review blog”, mainly because I like writing too much and believe that other women can learn from my tales about the challenges I experience in balancing my life. And even if they don't actually learn anything, they may just get a good laugh!

However, occasionally, I will review products that I like.  Trust me, if I don’t like it I’ll let you know or I simply won’t write about it.
