I am participating in the Verizon Moms Voices program and have been
provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my
honest opinions about the product.
There is news. Then there is "I am so excited I can barely
contain myself in public" news. I have that kind of news to share. I started out
blogging as a way to inform my friends in North Carolina about my life in Pittsburgh.
Nobody read the blog unless I told them about it and that was fine with me.
Well something happened on the way to the delivery room.
When I became pregnant I decided that I had information to share that would
benefit other women and to my great luck, more people actually started to read
it. Recently, I have also gained the interest of brands—small and national—who would
like to collaborate with me. It’s been an exciting time and it’s given me an
opportunity to serve as a trusted filter for my readers.
Recently, Verizon selected me to be a “Verizon Wireless
Voices Ambassador”. It’s a cool opportunity because I’ll get to try out a
couple Verizon devices and get my technology game up. I’ll also be able to
share what I learn with all of you. I will find out what the devices are
tomorrow at a Verizon sponsored event. I’ll keep you posted. Until then, take
