Mom and three kids Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. I was blessed to have three successful births. While I am an attorney, my third delivery highlighted the potential risks that occur when a physician fails to listen to the birthing person. Initially, I chalked it up to the physician involved and limited it to my personal birthing experience. Then, I learned that I was not special. Every morning is a struggle in our house.  Some people have an internal clock that wakes them up early with a smile.  Nobody in my house got that gene, except for maybe the baby.  If he's going to survive here though, he's going to have to change...

I have adjusted like most moms do to getting up earlier than my internal clock would like.  If I didn't get up early, I'd never get everything done. I'd also never have time to myself.  Because I'm often up with the baby alone, I am able to create some funny shots.  Here's one of them.
