Being the daughter of an educator reading has always been very important to me. As a Pittsburgh transplant, it has been nice to see that the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is such a strong part of the community. Below is information about its Annual Summer Reading Extravaganza. • Take part in exciting activities and learn about Frick Art & Historical Center, Pittsburgh Park Conservancy, Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, River Quest, WQED and so many other amazing Pittsburgh organizations.

• Watch puppet shows, learn origami and plant some seeds.
