Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. As a working mom it is easy to allow your things to do list to consume you. Indeed, I sometimes go through life with blinders on and fail to notice the beautiful world in which I live. Fortunately, I am sometimes forced to pause.

Pay Attention to Life's Beauty


A couple of weeks ago while driving to a presentation I had to stop for road construction. My first instinct was to complain about the delay. However, I turned my head to the right and saw this breathtaking view.
It reminded me that life contains delays, detours, and sometimes derailments. While we may not be able to control those, we can decide to enjoy the journey. It also reminded me to never forget that the splendor of God is all around me. And if I stop complaining long enough to pay attention I just might get blessed!
