Me and the kiddos in our Halloween Costumes at Portrait Innovations |
"Go to Portrait Innovations often! You'll never regret spending on pictures!" Cathy Sorna
The other reason, I was excited to review Portrait Innovations is because I recognize that these years with my kids are fleeting. So, I tend to jump at the opportunity to take their photos. If you follow me on Instagram then you know that first hand!

I have to say that this experience was a great one. We had the best time at the photo shoot. Jenna, our photographer, was skilled and patient. She made it easy for me to be there alone with my two small children. (Unfortunately, Andre was unable to make it to the shoot. So, it was just me and the littles.) She picked backgrounds and props that complemented our outfits and really help make some really great photos.
As indicated above, my friend, Cathy (who lives in an area where Portrait Innovations is more established) whose girls are 15 and 17 said, "You'll never regret spending on pictures!" I think that she's right. Life moves at warped speed. And it takes a level of consciousness to realize that we need to pause to capture special moments so that we don't forget them. And, sometimes, even in the world of photo taking smart phones, you need the aid of a professional to capture your precious family moments, right.
So, even though, we had to run out of the house on a Saturday to the studio that was over 20 minutes away, shine our shoes, slick our hair, and pack our Halloween costumes... And even though my kids got on my nerves running around playing hide and go seek with other children... In a word, even though we experienced an imperfect day, the images captured the perfection that existed for a fleeting moment. And we will have those images forever.
