Mom and three kids Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Things have been busy. I am still a working mom of three, working full time who is trying to make a difference. I do a lot of things and try to be present so that I can learn from them. I share them on this blog so that we can learn together. Below are some thoughts, hacks, and/or lessons that I have learned from navigating my world. Black Maternal Health Week April 11-17, 2025 I am a Black mom to three wonderful children. I was blessed to have three successful births. While I am an attorney, my third delivery highlighted the potential risks that occur when a physician fails to listen to the birthing person. Initially, I chalked it up to the physician involved and limited it to my personal birthing experience. Then, I learned that I was not special. Pittsburgh Moms, Check Out Disney on Ice

Family At Frozen on Ice



My family and I were fortunate enough to attend the show as guests of a PR company. So, we were able to experience the magic firsthand. We learned that not only do patrons get transported to the fictional town of Arendelle to experience the fearless adventure that Anna takes to save her sister. We also learned that regardless of the closeness of the seats, every patron feels like he/she is a part of the show. 

I have to say that my kids think that I am a total rock star for getting the tickets. That makes me happy since I live  to make her smile! (My son loved the show, but wasn't that keen about his hat! :-))

The other amazing thing, as the above photo indicates, is that Frozen on Ice is a veritable Disney party and reunion. So many characters join the opening scene and the finale that everybody gets to see their Disney favorites. And if you're focused, you can get enough photos to fill an album.
